AASD Educator Recruitment Event

The Appleton Area School District (AASD) is hosting an Educator Recruitment Event on Saturday, February 22 from 8:00 A.M. - 12:30 P.M. at Appleton North High School (5000 N Ballard Rd.) for 2025-2026 school year positions. 

The AASD is seeking educators who are passionate about student success!  If you are a recent college graduate, an experienced educator, or a non-traditional educator, looking to join an innovative district for the 2025-26 school year, you are encouraged to attend! You will be able to meet school leaders, preview openings, and learn about all the benefits AASD offers. 

While this event is primarily focused on educators, we encourage all interested individuals, including those seeking support staff positions, to attend and learn more about career opportunities within the Appleton Area School District. 

Anticipated vacancies for the 2025-2026 school year are at all levels and in the areas of Educators, Paraprofessionals, DH/H interpreters, English Learner Interpreters, Transportation Aides, and Substitutes.

Support

  • New Educator Mentoring- Providing educators in their first years with a structured, collaborative, and non-evaluative support system will yield professionally empowered educators who understand AASD’s commitment to their continual professional growth, thereby fostering student success.
  • New Staff Induction -The AASD’s two-year induction program for Educators contains three main components: an ongoing orientation to welcome all new educators to the district, training, and support seminars for professional development tied to the Wisconsin educator standards, and a mentor to provide ongoing instructional and management support.
  • All staff orientation and training will ensure that new staff have a great start!
